San Sebastian de La Gomera, April 8 .- El Cabildo de La Gomera and Red Electrica de Espana has signed a collaboration agreement to implement hydroelectric power, reported today at a press conference the presidents of the insular institution, Casimiro Curbelo, and national society, Luis Atienza.

The aim of the agreement is to allow greater use of renewable energy, providing greater stability to the island electrical system and, tera gold, reduce energy dependence of the island.

It also allows initiation of the studies and projects to realize pre-required action.

Curbelo recalls in the statement that the council has a draft "very new" to reduce by 90 percent on conventional energy use and therefore greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

For this purpose, with the approval of the Government of Spain,, star trek online credits, which has already been submitted the initiative also coincides with the targets set in the Canary Plan was approved by the Council of Ministers held late last year in Archipelago.

Remember also that the objective is that during the present year are drawn up projects and identified all previous performances in order to tender the works and to begin work no later than, ffxiv gil, early 2011.

Clarifies that always counted on the systems in place and in the future may be used to get left behind La Gomera fossil fuel and is supplied with the power of water, sun and wind.

Luis Atienza notes that this type of electricity storage systems on a large scale are a key element in the attainment of the objectives of the Canary Islands Energy Plan (PECAN), to be achieved without compromising the security of supply.

He explains that the reversible hydroelectric system of La Gomera require a combination of two reservoirs at different levels and the construction of a power-pumping hydraulic turbine stations.

The pumping system will be promoted by the Cabildo de La Gomera and REE, and can take advantage of existing structures or reservoirs on the island or start a new construction.

Stresses that the reduction of energy dependence will have a positive effect on GDP and employment on the island, resulting from the use of indigenous resources and the realization of hydraulic infrastructure. 1010220
